Going Through Tutorials

I've found that while going through different tutorials, a lot of them assume that you already know something about Flash, which, in my case, is not true at all. The only thing I know about Flash is that there are keyframes used for animation. I don't know how to build a website. So, having said that, I want to let you know that I really like this tutorial so far: Killersites.com Video Tutorial. Their videos assume that you know nothing about Flash, and so they explain everything in detail as though you're retarded. I LOVE IT! Lol... Anyway, thought I would update and let you all know what's been going on. Toodles!

Out Sick...

Hello, everyone. I wanted to apologize for not having posted in the past week or two. I have been sick with both strep and mono, and it's taken quite a toll on both my body and the time I need to complete my projects. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to drop the 3D project that I was planning simply because I now only have time for one project, and the Flash site is more important to me seeing as how I don't really understand how to use Flash in the web yet, and I know how to use Maya (for the most part).

Anyway, I found a tutorial on the web that seems to be pretty thorough in describing how to use Flash in a web layout. The link can be found below!

I've begun to do some research on Flash sites. I haven't been looking for tutorials, but, rather, I'm kind of looking at the ways in which other people design their flash sites so that I can come up with something way more kick-ass. I'll let you know how things go!

Starting Some Projects...

Hello there, friends. My name is Angie, and I'll be blogging about my art projects for my Special Projects in Digital Media class this term here on Blogger. Let me describe for you what I'll be doing:

There are two things I would like to accomplish this term in Special Projects in Digital Media. First, I would like to learn how to incorporate Flash into a website’s layout and use said layout for an online portfolio. Second, I would like to build a 3D character, a dragon-like woman, that represents my own personality, and possibly use it as a personal mascot in the creation of my portfolio. I realize this will take quite a bit of time on my part, but I am willing to learn and take the time to do so.

So far, that's all I've got, but I'm definitely going to update soon. Take care!
